My Nana's Oven Stuffed Pork-Chops
*Something I remember her making before passing in 2012*
Ingredients:
- Onion Powder
- Garlic Powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 sticks of better cut up and melted
- 3-4 Boxes of Stove Top Stuffing PORK FLAVOR
- 2 Sticks of butter *For Stove Top Stuffing* **Cook stuffing first and follow instructions on the box**
- Pork Chops *Bone-In or Boneless but don't get thin cut*
- Shredded Cheese
Pre-Heat your oven to 350-375 for about 15 minutes so while you prep the items that way it's at the right temp.
Either using a cake pan, or cookie sheet spray with cooking spray, that way the pork chops don't stick. Season pork-chops with the onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper, both sides. This can be done while the stove top stuffing is cooking since that's one item you will need next. Don't wait for it too cool down once the five minutes of fluff is over you go ahead and scoop and set a-top the uncooked pork-chops. Take the melted butter and drizzle over the stuffing that way it gives some moisture and also helps crisp the stuffing nicely. Cook for about 30-45 minutes until the pork-chops are at an internal temp of 160. Once the pork is cooked all the way through that main dish is complete.
